Dr. Arne Schneemann

Dr. Arne Schneemann is a Board Member at DB Regio Straße, where he has been leading the division since December 1, 2023. With a strong background in both corporate consulting and public service, Dr. Schneemann brings a wealth of experience to his role at Deutsche Bahn. He joined the company in 2010 after holding positions in consulting and at the Ministry of Economic Affairs in Lower Saxony. Dr. Schneemann, who holds a PhD in business administration, spent four years leading business development at DB Fernverkehr before transitioning to DB Regio Bus. There, he was responsible for controlling and, since 2021, served as the CFO, overseeing finance and controlling for DB Regio Straße. His leadership and strategic insight have been instrumental in guiding the division through challenging times, especially following the sudden passing of his predecessor, Frank Klingenhöfer, in October 2023. Dr. Schneemann's deep understanding of the transportation sector and his commitment to innovation make him a key figure in the future development of DB Regio Straße.








