Sebastian Kempf

Sebastian is a Senior Partner at McKinsey and co-leader of the Advanced Industries Lifecycle Practice. With extensive experience in serving leading mobility, industrial, and private equity clients, he focuses on creating innovative business models and growth opportunities. His recent work includes pioneering digital business models, building new lifecycle offerings, and leading performance transformation programs. From 2019-2022, Sebastian has been Managing Partner of the McKinsey Düsseldorf office, initiated a regional startup program, and is actively engaged in transatlantic relationships. Sebastian holds a B.Sc. degree in Business Administration from the European Business School (EBS), Oestrich-Winkel, Germany. He earned an M.B.A. from INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France, where he was awarded the Henry Ford II Prize for graduating top of his class.








